He has argued before the Michigan Supreme Court and tried cases at every stage of civil litigation.
Early in his career, Ali clerked in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan under a respected civil rights judge. That federal courtroom experience grounded his approach: deep preparation, sharp cross-examination, and closing arguments that leave nothing on the table. His passionate, razor-sharp litigation style has become the firm's signature.
Ali finds particular meaning in wrongful death work — knowing that a verdict, however imperfect, can restore some measure of dignity to families who have lost everything.
Ali later returned to academia for rigorous pre-medical coursework, and has pursued advanced study in computer science (C, C++, assembly) and cryptography. This breadth across law, finance, and medicine gives him an uncommon range when valuing damages, cross-examining medical experts, and translating complex injuries into terms a jury can act on.
Ali is admitted in both state and federal courts in Michigan and is one of the few Michigan trial attorneys also licensed in Nevada — having sat for and passed the Nevada bar exam in 2020 despite Nevada's lack of reciprocity with other states. He handles complex civil litigation and appellate matters in both jurisdictions.
Outside the courtroom, Ali brings the same discipline and curiosity to a wide range of pursuits. He is a FIDE-ranked chess player and former tournament competitor, a licensed solo skydiver, and a student pilot working toward his private pilot's license. He has traveled to nearly 40 countries — an experience that has shaped how he relates to clients from every walk of life.
Ali studies programming languages and cryptography in his spare time, drawn to the same problems that draw him to law: structured thinking, asymmetric advantage, and the discipline of finding the one move other people miss.
